K (Toyin) Agbebiyi

K (Toyin) Agbebiyi is a disabled organizer, writer, and strategist originally from Kennesaw, Georgia. Informed by their experiences as a survivor of sexual violence, the  majority of their work and writing  has crossed the intersections of disability justice, reproductive justice, and prison abolition. They earned their MSW from the University of Michigan in 2018.  As a co-creator of the viral propaganda site 8toAbolition, they have had the opportunity to give numerous talks on issues regarding sexual violence and prison abolition at institutions such as Yale, Columbia, the University of Iowa, the University of Michigan, and the University of California San Francisco. Their writing and organizing work has been featured in publications such as Glamour, Bitch Media, The Guardian, Teen Vogue, Prism, Rewire News, and the Brooklyn Library along with the contemporary art museum MoMa PS1. They are the creator of various successful campaigns such as the #FreeAshleyNow campaign, the Disability Justice Mutual Aid Fund, and have been an active member of various organizing formations in Georgia, and New York. Currently working as an organizing strategist fighting against the private equity industry, they are based in Atlanta Georgia.
