If you’re looking for individualized guidance outside of a class or conference, OMM offers private, one-hour consulting sessions tailored to your publishing goals. These sessions are ideal for writers at any stage—from those still shaping a concept, to those preparing to query, publish, or pivot.

This is dedicated time for:

  • Asking questions about your publishing journey

  • Discussing how to get started or get unstuck

  • Exploring specific book or project ideas

  • Workshopping a query letter or book proposal

  • Navigating career transitions or challenges in publishing as an author

Fee: $250/hour
 A sliding scale is available upon request for those for whom the full fee would be a financial hardship. OMM encourages you to reach out!

Who It's For:

  • You’ve previously queried OMM and received a pass

  • You’re not currently seeking literary representation

  • You’re in the early stages of project development or career exploration

  • You simply want to learn from a publishing expert in a no-pressure environment
